Miller Lite Doubles Bowling Tournament
Fact Sheet
Objective: To place more paid lines in member centers. To partner with a National Brand Miller by establishing friendly completion in member centers advancing bowlers to a Large “Bowling Event” and Party.
Costs: BCAM Member Participating Centers will pay a fee of $7.00 Per Lane Bed.
Non-BCAM Member Center can participate by paying a $14.00 Per Lane Bed
Prizes: 1st Place $10,000, 2nd Place $5000, 3rd Place $2500
(Based on 2500 State-WideTeams)
Pay Ratio for In-Center and State 1:7 Ratios
Minimum Guaranteed BCAM Miller Doubles Prize Fund will be $10,000

Receive: (1) Miller Lite Visi-Ball (In-Center Promotion)
(2) Miller Lite Wind Shirts (In-Center Promotion)
(4) Miller Lite Bowling Towels (In-Center Promotion)

Qualifying: November 1st- March 15, 2009 3 Games of Regular Bowling
Players scores with Handicap
Squad Costs: Recommended Costs are $30.00 Per Team.
$16.00 Lineage (Recommend) This stays with the Participating Center
$8.00 State Finals (sent to BCAM)
$4.00 In-House Prize Fund (distributed by the Center)
$2.00 Expenses ($2.00 In-Center Expenses)
Squad Times: Each Center will establish there squad times. No limit to the number of
squads. This is a great time to build a promotion that helps to fill lane inventory.
State Ratio: 1 out of every 10 Teams that Bowl can go to the State. However, the same team can only qualify for State once even if they qualify in multiple centers.
State Location: The center criteria will be reflecting the following:
1.) Participation in the event.
2.) Facilities for a After Party and Tournament Office
3.) Lane Availability in April of 2009
4.) Sealed Bidding information will be sent out in January for centers
State Format: All Qualifying Teams will bowl on specific squad times.
Scores with Handicap will be based on 3 Games Bowled in the finals.
Regular Bowling Format
Support: Member support will be provided by a new program called BCAM/MDUSBC
Shared Services Partnership who will assist centers with rules and logistics for
Centers. Details will be sent upon commitment.
How to Promote the BCAM

Tip Sheet
Ø Work with Local Distributor for In-House Promotional Items and Point of Sale in addition to the materials in the kit.
Ø Set-Up In-Center Division of Men’s, Ladies and Mixed to qualify more teams for the State. In also encourages, multiple participation in division.
Ø Make a “slow” time slot “Miller Doubles Qualifying night(s).
Ø Increase “Post League” activity with Qualifying Nights after League Play.
Ø Use PA Announcement’s before all leagues announcing “Miller Doubles” Bowling Night.
Ø Print Additional Flyers to handout to the league bowlers.
Ø Create “In-League Qualifying” for Leagues. They can pay before they begin League Play and try to qualify when the post there scores. (Recommended Cost $30.00 in-league also.)
Ø Consider running “In-Center” Jackpots during qualifying to increase interest.
